About the Practice
These are nearly all-orthopedic outpatient clinics built around full 45-minute, one-on-one visits with no overlapping or double-booked schedules. Mentorship and clinical development are central to how the team operates, and the culture is supportive rather than volume-driven.
New Mexico is part of the appeal: an affordable, family-friendly place to live with easy access to the outdoors and none of the pace of a large metro area.
The Role
This is a working leadership position. You will oversee both the Los Alamos and Santa Fe locations while continuing to see patients directly, so clinical credibility with your team comes from working next to them rather than from a title.
At full build-out you will lead a team of staff Physical Therapists across the two clinics, with responsibility for mentorship, clinical standards, and day to day operations.
Location
Based in Los Alamos, NM, with oversight of both the Los Alamos and Santa Fe locations. The client is ready to move as soon as the right candidate is found.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, with hours offset anywhere between 7 AM and 6 PM. The schedule is flexible and negotiated as long as the week totals roughly 40 hours, and some staff work 10-hour days.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary starts at $86,000 and reaches $123,000 at the top of the band for overseeing multiple clinics, depending on experience. Productivity bonuses are available, with the structure set during the offer conversation, and both sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are open to negotiation.
Benefits include group health insurance with vision and dental, paid time off, and a pension and 401(k) plan.
Requirements
An active New Mexico Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain one, is required, along with roughly three to five years of experience. New graduates are not a fit for this role. Candidates relocating from out of state are welcome, with relocation assistance open to negotiation.
Interview Process
A phone interview comes first, followed by either a video or in-person interview depending on how that conversation goes. The client runs as many rounds as it takes to feel confident in the fit.
Team and Culture
You will lead a small, collaborative team across two clinics, with leadership involved in patient care every day. The care model is built on full, unhurried one-on-one sessions instead of high-volume overlapping visits.
