About the Opportunity
This established practice has served the Roseville community for nearly two decades, and its new Rocklin clinic builds on the lasting relationships it has developed with local physicians and referral sources in Placer County.
The practice is opening a new outpatient clinic in Rocklin and is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to help build it from the ground up. This is a rare chance to join a new clinic at the start, while still having the support of an established practice.
The Physical Therapist will have real input into how the clinic runs, its culture, and how it grows. Patients are diverse in diagnosis, age, and background, so the Physical Therapist will treat a wide range of cases, including geriatric, orthopedic, and neurological, and follow each patient through their entire continuum of care. The clinic is newly built out with updated tools and equipment.
What You Will Do
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations (60-minute evals) to assess needs and guide treatment planning. Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with best practices in outpatient rehabilitation. Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and tailored exercise programs, during 30-minute follow-up visits. Manage discharge planning and coordinate smooth transitions to home or continued care. Document patient progress accurately using the clinic's EHR system. Collaborate closely with physicians, Physical Therapist Assistants, Aides, and other providers to optimize patient outcomes. Help grow the clinic's caseload by building relationships with referring physicians and community partners in Rocklin and surrounding areas.
What We Are Looking For
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Active California Physical Therapist license, or license eligibility with an exam date already scheduled. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures related to physical therapy. Experience with EHR/EMR systems for documentation and treatment planning. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration. Self-motivated and excited about helping a new clinic grow. Experience with geriatric, orthopedic, or neurological populations a plus.
Schedule
Monday to Friday. Choice of four 10-hour shifts per week (with a weekday off) or 8-hour shifts. 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits, with no double booking.
Compensation and Benefits
The position pays $47.85 - $54.42 per hour.
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan with company match, $1,000/year continuing education reimbursement, and 17 days of paid time off annually (holidays, vacation, and personal time).
