About the Practice
This physician-owned musculoskeletal practice in New Hyde Park is expanding its physical therapy team to split a steady referral caseload coming from the pain management physician upstairs. Leadership is deliberately hands-off, and clinicians control their own treatment decisions.
The Role
You will provide one-on-one care to patients ranging from about thirty to eighty years old, primarily for joint pain, low back pain, and neck pain. Once the caseload is split, expect roughly twenty-five patients per day.
Because the practice is physician-owned and growing, there is significant room to expand your role over time.
Schedule
Monday and Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
What We Are Looking For
An active physical therapy license is required. There is no minimum experience requirement and new graduates are welcome.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay is $50 to $55 per hour, equivalent to roughly $100,000 to $120,000 per year depending on experience. The owner has a reputation for being generous with raises and bonuses when volume goals are met.
Benefits include ten paid time off days after a ninety-day probationary period, six paid federal holidays, and 401(k) eligibility after one year.
